Paul and his wife

It feels strange and unfair that only a few people own most of the world’s wealth, doesn’t it?

It can seem as though some people are destined to be rich and successful, while others are forced to live a life full of struggle and misery.

Fortunately, the idea that our lives are predetermined in this way is an illusion that has persisted for thousands of years.

Let’s put that belief behind us, once and for all!

How can you change your direction in life?

Everything in nature, and throughout the universe, follows laws that apply regardless of who you are, where you are, or where you come from.

Think of gravity. If you pour water, it falls toward the ground. It makes no difference whether you consider yourself a good or bad person, or whether you are in Europe, the United States, or on the moon.

Similarly, understanding and applying useful principles can help us shape what we achieve in life. We need to learn what those principles are and how to put them into practice.

Most of us learn how to live from our parents and others who play a similar role in our lives. We develop our ways of thinking based on what those people believe is right. We adapt those ideas throughout our lives and pass them on to the next generation. Right?

Of course. This is how we have continued to survive, live, and grow over countless generations.

As humans developed, we learned that living together offered advantages over living alone. We discovered farming as an alternative to hunting and gathering. We gradually organized our communities and established rules for living together.

Religion played a major role in shaping many societies. Over time, governments took on more responsibility for organizing and regulating daily life.

Each generation has the opportunity to help humanity move forward. We try to learn as much as possible from the mistakes of previous generations and build on what they have taught us.

Some people believe that becoming wealthy means working hard, 24/7, and perhaps striking gold along the way. ;-)

Others believe they have no choice but to work for a difficult boss, with unpleasant coworkers, in an unhealthy environment. Some have learned to believe that making a living requires taking advantage of others.

But some people build their lives around finding a better way of doing things. A smarter way. Day after day, they learn and grow while creating happier, healthier lives.

Even though we can reason and think in ways that go beyond the abilities of many other animals, we still often act out of habit and instinct.

One of our most remarkable abilities is that we can reflect on our lives, imagine different possibilities, and deliberately shape our future.

A dog may feel safe and happy with a loving family. But does it reflect on that happiness the way we do? ;-)

An elephant may have an excellent memory and live in a well-organized social group. Yet it does not plan and build irrigation canals to bring water to distant places.

As wonderful as nature is, our ability to imagine, plan, and work toward a different future gives us extraordinary possibilities. I know we make huge mistakes, but we can learn from them. So can you! ;-)

I am convinced that this generation can make one of the greatest differences in history by discovering who we really are and what we are capable of creating during our lifetimes. By exploring our human potential, we can grow beyond our current limitations and help humanity reach the next level.

My own life is a powerful example of how a series of difficult experiences can lead to lasting positive change and continued growth.

I am happy you are here because it means you, too, are looking for a better way of living. I have made it my main goal to help make this world a better place by sharing my knowledge and insights.

You are warmly welcome here.
